Je travaille sur l’hypothèse de l’origine développementale de la santé et des maladies des adultes en utilisant une approche intégrée. J’étudie le rôle de l’environnement précoce (nutrition périnatale, obésité maternelle, diabète maternel, séparation maternelle) sur les fonctions cérébrales et la vulnérabilité aux maladies neuropsychiatriques (dépression, anxiété) chez la descendance. J’explore également grâce à des modèles précliniques, le rôle causal des dysfonctionnements intestinaux (dysbiose intestinale et hyper-perméabilité intestinale) dans l’émergence des déficits associés au stress précoce.
