Cyril Herry est Directeur de recherche au Neurocentre Magendie (INSERM U1215 et université de Bordeaux) et neurophysiologiste. Ses recherches portent sur l’identification des circuits neuronaux de la peur et de l’anxiété par la mise en jeu d’approches neuroanatomiques, électrophysiologiques et comportementales. Il est l’auteur de nombreuses publications scientifiques de haut niveau et son travail a été reconnu par l’obtention de prix de l’Académie Nationale de Science et de Médecine. Ses recherches actuelles se concentrent sur l’identification de marqueurs physiologiques de la peur et de l’anxiété chez l’homme et l’animal dans le but de développer de nouvelles approches thérapeutiques ciblées des troubles anxieux.
