Title
Microglial motility, synaptic regulation and signaling in the adult mouse brain.
Abstract
Microglia are the immune cells of the brain. Although their role in pathologies and development has been widely studied, the knowledge on their exact functions in the intact brain remain sparse. Several studies report contacts between microglia and synapses. Our team tries to determine what are the functions of the constant movement of their processes in physiological conditions in respect to synaptic functions and synaptic plasticity.
