Workshop on Gender impact Assessment
A training session on Gender Impact Assessment is scheduled for 8 April 2024 from 2pm to 4pm.
Venue: CGFB – Salle Sud
Description: The University of Oulu (Finland) – a partner in the RESET project (coordinated by the University of Bordeaux) – is offering a workshop in English on 8 April 2024 on the theme of “Gender Impact Assessment”, aimed at researchers and research support staff. The aim of the workshop is to present the RESET checkslit – a tool designed to help communities respond to calls for proposals by taking into account the sex, gender (and diversity) dimensions of their research projects. This has become a requirement for obtaining funding under the Horizon Europe framework programme, and is strongly encouraged by the ANR.
The presenters will focus on the field of neuroscience, presenting the impact of gender-blind research in neuroscience and the contribution of gender to this discipline. This could also be an opportunity for researchers to ask questions and receive more specific support in their thinking about their own research project (with the possibility of sending an abstract before the workshop so that the moderators can then discuss it with the participants).
