Workshop Introduction to experimental Neuroscience – Call for instructors
We are looking for instructors for the workshop “Introduction to Experimental Neuroscience” that will take place from July 17th to August 2nd. With this workshop, we aim to share our passion for neuroscience, to create interdisciplinarity and develop scientific discussions between students and researchers from different levels of expertise.
How does it work?
The objective will be to introduce master or PhD students from various background outside the neuroscientific field to the experimental Neuroscience. We will welcome students from physics, engineering, mathematics, psychology and many others.
Your mission will be to supervise a group of 2 or 3 students during 6 days, in English, to implement a mini project according to your specific technical skills. Of course, in order to develop your project, you will have the assistance of experienced researchers and university professors as well as the teams of the Bordeaux School of Neuroscience and the Bordeaux Neurocampus Graduate Program. As you will work with students who may not have any previous experience in a wet lab and as the aim of this workshop is for them to directly perform the experiments under your supervision, our suggestion is to keep things easy.
International experts from different areas of neuroscience will supervise the program organization.
