The main goal of my work is to study the neuronal mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of obesity and diabetes and to define novel pharmacological treatments for these diseases.
In this context, my studies aim to decipher how the brain communicates with peripheral organs to control food intake and whole-body metabolism under both physiological and pathological conditions.
