Finding and booking a room

About device

In the case of a defense with some remote public and/or jury:
– The BBS and CARF auditoriums are equipped with a videoconference bar.
– The Broca auditorium is equipped with a rather complex videoconferencing system that is sometimes unstable. It’ll need some tests.

Key points:
– Remember to have an Eduroam connection on your computer!

Is your defense at the Broca Centre?
It’s essential to test your equipment and arrive early to connect the Zoom.
More information from Arnaud Rodriguez or Julia Goncalves, who will provide you with the appropriate documentation.
Other contacts:
– IMN: Claire Delattre
– IINS: Nolwenn Cloarec

Technical problems?
The audiovisual service on the Carreire campus can help you:

Advertizing your defense

Your presentation will be announced in our agenda.

Please write to Arnaud Rodriguez and to the person in charge of communication in your unit, providing the following information:

  • Date and time of the presentation
  • Venue of the presentation (or zoom link if available)
  • Language of the presentation
  • Title (in French and English)
  • Abstract and keywords (in French and English)
  • Your publications or a selection
  • Composition of the jury
  • A photographic portrait. Arnaud Rodriguez can do it.

Some little advice. Never post the link of a zoom conference on any social networks. Your conference could be hacked!

Pot de thèse

At the Centre Broca:
– You must reserve the atrium or the restaurant area via http://grr-neuro.u-bordeaux.fr
– We advise you to use the restaurant area.
– If you wish to set up in the atrium, tables are available.
– The fridges in the catering area are at your disposal. Please make a note of your name!

After the party
– Please empty the fridges and clean up afterwards.

For other locations
Please ask the reception staff

Security instructions

You will have to send a “déclaration d’événement” to the PSCI, max 2 weeks before the event.

If it takes place after 8pm and if you use warming or cooking device in the atrium, you have to send a “security notice”.

Please respect the areas for setting up tables.
