Neurophotonics Journal Club at the BIC

Every first Tuesday of the month at 12:30, the BIC photonic team organizes a monthly journal club on Neurophotonics. A volunteer presents a recently published article dealing with novel optical techniques particularly useful for neuroscience research.

This is a convivial and critical paper presentation and the audience is encouraged to ask questions and discuss during and after the presentation. Everybody is welcome to attend: physicists, engineers, biologists, PhDs, post-docs, researchers, … Presenting a paper is not mandatory. It is a great opportunity to keep in touch with most recent developments, to learn about pros and cons of various techniques, and to meet colleagues from other labs.

And, as soon as the sanitary situation permits, they’ll also offer free pizzas and soft drinks !
