Childcare Grants for the FENS Forum
Funding body: The Gatsby Charitable Foundation
To facilitate the attendance of scientists at the Forum 2024, FENS will provide a limited number of childcare grants for offsite care. FENS thanks the Gatsby Charitable Foundation for their generous support of this initiative.
Successful applicants will receive up to 600 EUR which can be spent flexibly on extra childcare at home, travel of children and carers to Vienna, or travel of a carer to the homes of the awardees and the related childcare.
Eligibility: PhD, postdoc or junior faculty (within 5 years of their appointment, excluding any periods of parental or documented health-related leave) only, and for Europe-based individuals.
Requirements: a brief report and receipts of spending.
All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by the end of April or in early May 2024.
