Nature Awards for Mentoring in Science

Celebrating outstanding support and mentorship in science, the Nature Awards for Mentoring in Science recognise those who support early career researchers in their career development. Focused on a different country or region each year, this year’s award focuses on mentors in France, and invites former mentees to nominate a mentor that has made a significant contribution to their careers.
The Nature Awards for Mentoring in Science is made up of two categories:
- The award for lifetime achievement in mentoring is open to individuals who were awarded their PhD or Medical Doctorate before 1995.
- The award for mid-career achievement – awarded jointly between two mentors – is open to individuals who were awarded their PhD or Medical Doctorate in or after 1995.
